This facility has been provided to all students in nominal charges. Students can do photocopy of any educational material, can download from internet and take print out of notes, e-books, question papers and model answers, etc.
The institute is providing canteen facility to the students as well as teaching and non teaching staff of this institute; it is capable of catering the demand of the students and can accommodate 30 persons at a time. It has spacious & properly maintained room as well as kitchen; generally the institute provides it to any individual on contract basis after proper official’s formalities.
Libraries are the storehouse of knowledge as they maintain the books and other knowledge resources available mostly in the printed form. However, with the advent of Digital Technology and Internet connectivity, the library scenario is changing fast. Digital technology, Internet connectivity and Physical content is dovetailed and resulted in Digital Library.
Since, inception of this Polytechnic in 2014, this library is established. It is such a place which slowly but steadily has moved ahead. Today, the library has more than 5811books. In order to facilitate all the readers with selected reading materials of their choice, the access to stacks is opened to its members.
There has been some in-house arrangement of sports activities like Table Tennis and Carom which can be utilised by the students during their leisure time. Apart from these, there has been a Volley ball court at the institute premise which the students use very often.
There are 3 basic workshops in this institute to cater the needs of the students for their first year study. These three workshops are -
1. Carpentry Workshop
2. Welding Workshop
3. Electric Wiring Workshop
Students will get a hands on experience into basic scientific experiments into the Physics and Chemistry Laboratories which are used by all the students irrespective of their discipline. Also a Computer Laboratory and a Language Laboratory has been set up to aid the students with latest development of software related to their specialization and to make them industry-friendly by enhancing their communicative skills respectively.
